Welcome to Bristol Anthropology and Archaeology Reflects! This is a place where the University of Bristol Anthropology and Archaeology department community can reflect and create dialogue about our discipline, research, and fieldwork. Here you will learn about the various projects our PRGs, master’s students, and undergrads are working on, discussing, and applying. Posts are written primarily by students, with guest posts by staff and members of the wider Bristol community. We engage in reflections of fieldwork and methodology, applied theory, experiences during fieldwork, and our current research.
Our goal is to provide a space for students to write for a wider audience about their work, help bridge the gap between academia and the general public, and engage more people inside and outside the department in conversations about anthropology and archaeology.
If you are interested in writing a piece yourself, or would like to get in contact with a particular contributor, please get in touch via our contact page.
